When asked to help us provide a bit of background for listeners, our next guest Khurshand Bhathena says:
“I am a free spirited, talkative funny, loving and caring person. But being free spirited and very open also has its downsides, as sometimes people find me ‘too open’ — I’ve definitely landed into a lot of trouble because it!
“I am currently working a way to have enough money as well as try and search for what I really want in life. Honestly I’m a bit lost and willing to admit it. I no longer feel passionate about my “professional” work as a computer programmer for several personal reasons. I have but started working on things I thought I never could do. This includes working with disadvantaged children.
“Recently, I started volunteering at Teach for India and am soon going to be mentoring a youth assigned to me by an organization that calls itself The Lighthouse Project. Additionally, I plan on getting involved on several other NGO’s soon. This brings me so much more passion than the daily grind of higher paying work. It also makes my life so much happier!
“For added fun, I run a small food blog on Instagram and also am trying to finish my MBA by next year so that I can increase my network and management skills. Maybe someday I’ll own a business that helps kids!
